at first it seemed like i was gonna do some major surgery to combine the two
it just didn't look right to me with the way that the seat post was cutting into the flow of the bike. so i removed it and let my mind wander toward how to fix the look.
scratch and patch, one ugly pic after another for a while. it really took a lot of dedication to this project to see through it and see it through
it was coming together pretty fast but was still ug
i musta took this bike apart and back together at least 35 times
finally i got it to where i could at least see it better
i tried to make the frame details as clear as possible
me and loren were kicking around some ideas with some frenchy lookin shit fleur de lisish so i started hammering some sheet metal into shape
by this time i realized that i couldn't afford to build a nice moby engine so i put together a honda pa50 and fitted it on there. i also had been messing around with a tarnished copper looking paint job
see see! ....and lowered the fender skirt.
tail light fixture, headlight bucket, fattened the frame,
gymme hooked up some foxi forks and tires. at this point it's lookin alright, but believe me, there was a shit ton of fine sanding and finish work involved in getting this thing looking as good as possible.
i had it all ready for the tarnished copper look , but at the last minute backed out because i felt like i was rushing it.
let me tell ya.. it was alot of work!
