O.C.D. Chopper moped

SNEAK PEEK!
color scheme and new lower frame to fit my new setup
new setup?,,, yes, PA50Vx3
more pics coming real soon!

chili has some wackass yellow paint left over from one of his old builds. he said it goes on in 7 layers. wtf? "shit i donno, just do it." hopefully he has enough for the frame, forks, and headlight.
i made some clip-ons and shaved the top of the triple tree yesterday. i used a lazer to line the frame and shit. i'm at the point to where i just gotta review some measurements and lock everything in with some fat welds.

,
it currently looks like this after the IRE rally and a trip to mud mountain then it blew up on the way home. i'll get back on it this winter, modifying the bottom half of the frame (again!) :)
AHhhhh! my first moped. i'd been over at gymme's and fort hinrich's a few times making a bunch of noise hackin and gettin shit together for whoever needed help. i met a bunch of IRE peeps. then i rode tracy's bike once and figured out that gymme was building the same kinda bike.> ROCKIN! i was layed off of work and lookin for a hobbit? on ebay. i won this hunk of shit for $50. that's about the time the hampster got into the wheel and started doing some laps. i drove up there in mid march of 2009, picked it up, sprayed all the horse shit off it on the way home.
the next morning i didn't know what to think. o.k. i have this weird looking little motorized bike in my garage. it's kinda dumb looking? fuck, i donno. so, i have this 1974 harley davidson gas tank sitting here that chili dog gave me. that's about it though, i didn't really have any more material laying around at the time.fuck it, i hacked a few things here and there, starting from front to back i rearranged a few thing so, to me, it didn't seem so retarded.
then the boys were saying rally. i'm like what the fuck is that? i guess so. low and behold the newspaper journalist that attempted to interview me when i didn't know wtf was going on.
anyway, a month or so later i picked up a coupla more hobbits from ebay .
they were really bad but only $74. i was able to get two bikes going outta them three.
by that time i had a little more experience and looked at a few more bikes and really started getting into this shit. i let this bike chill for a while and started hacking out another one.
when the other bike was decent enough to let it chill i got back to this one and decided it needed revamped again.

i cut out a few bars, made a new seat, reworked the top bar, repainted it, and kitted it with a mallossi 70
new tires and brakes and cables and wiring and light fixtures
i'm thinkin it's getting better. i stripped it down and repainted it more theme like
that's about it, i didn't really tear into it all that much after that. i got it together and rode it that way for over a year like that

of coarse, i mean like that^

then i was over at chili dogs shootin the shit and he offered to redo it up. uhh yea
3 day's later he called me up and said to get it outta his house.SUPER cool!

wham! i can't put that POS stock swingarm back on there. i cut and cut and cut and cut. about 10 days later i had a swingarm hacked out of a fire escape ladder and lookin pimp for my new paint job
gymme gave me some sparta hydraulic shocks from his parted foxi. they were rusty chrome, so i ran'em over with a wire wheel until they submitted. then i hosed them down with that black appliance epoxy. i welded the sub frame solid and added a kickstand that i cut from a yamaha 250. it's kinda hard to see since i didn't post a pic, ha, i'll post one later after it's painted.

SIKE!, it's too cold outside to paint.

i'm thinkin about some kind of white design for the tank to compliment the seat

enough of that shit, i got bored and hacked it up again.. and again.
i post up some pics soon of the new rendition of the ocd/shape shift hobbit. i'm kinda lookin for a derbi engine.
